Editorial Policies

SUBSCRIPTIONS: We're free! But if you'd like to be on our mailing list and receive information about upcoming issues, CFPs, reader prizes, and other MeatJournal.com activities, please email us (did we mention it's free?).

MEATJOURNAL is a (very) independent, (mostly) quarterly journal. SUBMISSIONS: All submissions should be sent electronically to submissions@meatjournal.com. If your submission is entirely online, please provide a working URL; if it is a group of files, send them batched as a .zip file. If appropriate, we'll send your submission out to members of our editorial board for review. The review process takes time! You'll hear back from us within 3-5 weeks on unsolicited submissions (those that are not in response to a CFP). COPYRIGHT: MeatJournal.com loves the free exchange of information, so we encourage you to distribute copies of our articles for research or educational purposes free of charge and without permission (as long as you cite us!). Since we use images only after getting our own limited-use permission, however, we can't give you permission to use individual author's works (contact the authors themselves for permission). We do expressly prohibit any commercial use of our website and/or our articles without our written (yes, meat-text) consent.
